The AGM is usually held in March and notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be given by the club secretary not less than 21 clear days before the AGM date. Notice will be sent by email to all members.
The function of the AGM is to receive a report from the Chair of the committee, a statement of accounts from the Treasurer, vote on any proposals put forward by the committee or members and elect committee members. Proposals from members must be submitted in writing to the secretary at least seven days prior to the AGM. There will be no proposals from the floor of the AGM.
Nominations for officers of the committee must be sent to the secretary at least seven days prior to the AGM. Each nomination requires a second who shall be a club member. Election of officers is to take place at the AGM.
There will be no nominations for committee roles from the floor of the AGM.
